Three cheers for this tasty, natural by-product which uses gin-soaked raspberries left over from making Pinkster.

 

 

Tasting Notes

Pinkster use the majority of raspberries used in producing Pinkster Gin by recycling them as delicious Boozy Berries. The raspberries that don’t make the cut, because they’re rather too mashed, are used for Gin Jam.  We think this is a phenomenal idea for recycling the by-product of their delicious gin.

Ingredients:sugar, raspberries (50%), alcohol (5%). Prepared with 50g of fruit per 100g, total sugar content 60g per 100g.

Perfect Serve

We use a teaspoon of this delicious jam in our cocktails to add a delicious fruity zing, 

We also think it's the perfect ingredient to spread inside a homemade Victoria Sponge or Swiss Roll with delicious whipped cream.

But, being Cornish our very favourite way to have it is slathered all over fresh scones with a big blob of Cornish clotted cream on top, accompanied by a refreshing Pinkster G&T.... just heaven!
